Here at Littlethorpe, we create bespoke railway shelters to suit our client’s requirements. All of our train station canopies and shelters are manufactured to a high quality here in the UK. We have a range of railway shelters to fit in with the various types of station platforms whether it is a small village train station or a city railway station.

Our most popular shelters are made from durable hardwood and just like our bus shelters they are aesthetically pleasing and fit into any space available, keeping a traditional look. All of our railway’s shelters are made from FSC® certified hardwood, from fully sustainable sources, meaning that they have a low carbon footprint and can be essential for sustainability requirements.

Railway Station Coverings

Each railway station covering manufactured by Littlethorpe will come to you fully assembled and glazed. It will be transported straight to the railway station unless you have specified otherwise. Many stations will need the railway shelter to be installed by crane and our professional staff members are fully trained to install all types of train station canopies.

We have worked with many different rail stations and train stations up and down the UK providing strong and sturdy Railway Shelters as you know the weather in the UK can be unpredictable, which is why our shelters can face all weathers from gale-force winds, hail and rain.

The range of railway shelters that we offer here at Littlethorpe is available with laminated curved room beams allowing a wide and spacious sheltered area. We can provide free technical drawings on request. We also ensure that all of our shelters provide passengers and staff members with clear sight lines. Every train station shelter will have a modular system which means each platform or terminus can have its own design.
