Sheffield Wooden Bus Shelter
This is a longer, deeper, open fronted shelter;
A 30 degree, pitched roof shelter, with gabled ends, the underside of the roof is an open void. The roof substrate is 44mm thick and is covered in Cedar shingles. The end sections are of unequal depth to give maximum protection from the prevailing wind without making the shelter too enclosed while keeping the ease of access associated with an open fronted style of shelter.
The Sheffield style is usually built specially for specific locations.
A bench seat runs the full length of the rear wall. Any area of boarding can be swapped for glazing and vice versa.
