Park shelters are essentially a place to meet and
should have as much appeal to mothers with young children as others using
the local park.
As they particularly appeal to teenagers
who like to "hang out", special consideration has been given
to construction and the shelters' longevity. Physical protection against the weather
has also been provided for, whether it be strong sun or a sudden storm.
People are less likely to use their local park if it 'might rain' and there is nowhere to shelter.

|
We make our shelters from English oak or a hardwood
which has class A1 fire resistance and is which is more durable than oak.
A seat runs the length of the back wall, the vertical planking is 45mm thick and the legs sit into the ground half a metre.
This type of shelter has been well received customers,
because of it's low maintenance costs and by the general public, who perceived
it to be a quality item, attracting less vandalism than would be expected.

We have a
range of designs available, octagonal, open at the front or rectangular
and we can make shelters using any combination of glazed, half-glazed
or boarded panels and open doorways to suit specific locations.
The pitched roof on our shelters have an open void inside,
which is lined with solid timber and the outside is covered in.
The larger shelter is very adaptable and is suitable on golf courses, bowling greens or at the seaside. |
